On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, General Dapong Ratanasuwan, Privy Councillor, visited Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Bangkok, to monitor the progress of the Rajabhat University Strategic Plan for Local Development. He was warmly welcomed by the university’s executives, faculty members, staff, and students.

In the morning, Assoc. Following this, the deans of each faculty/college reported on their progress and achievements, reflecting their commitment to educational excellence.

General Dapong then attended a briefing on “Advancing Student Affairs”, presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Somsak Klai-Sang, Vice President for Student Affairs, along with the President of the Student Organization, Presidents of Faculty Student Clubs, and student representatives from various units.

In the afternoon, General Dapong delivered a special lecture to university staff at Sunandanusorn Auditorium and visited the Health and Sports Center to review local development project outcomes, which were presented in four key dimensions:

  • Economic Dimension: Project to build community branding and develop products to boost sales for communities around Sema Non Field, Bangkok.
  • Social Dimension: Project “Fighting for a Better Life” in Khlong Toei community.
  • Environmental Dimension: Integrated household waste management project in Khlong Yong community, Phutthamonthon District, Nakhon Pathom Province.
