SSRU Executives Lead Football Team in Royal Blessing Ceremony Ahead of "Rajabhat King’s Cup" Final

On January 24, 2025, at 9:00 AM, Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klaisang, Vice President for Student Affairs at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), led the university's football team in a blessing ceremony and tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sunandha Kumariratana. The ceremony was held to seek blessings and good fortune before the team embarks on their journey to compete in the 1st Rajabhat King’s Cup—a prestigious football tournament for the Royal Trophy of His Majesty the King. The final round is scheduled to take place from January 27-31, 2025, at Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.

Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, President of SSRU, presided over the ceremony, joined by university executives, vice presidents, presidential advisors, the Dean of the Faculty of Management Science, university staff from the Student Development Division, and the 25 football team members. The event was held in front of Building 31, Office of the President, and the Royal Monument of Her Majesty Queen Sunandha Kumariratana.

On this occasion, President Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon delivered an inspirational speech, encouraging the athletes to give their best performance, uphold sportsmanship, and represent SSRU with pride. She also extended her support to all personnel involved in the competition.

“I encourage all our athletes to stay focused, give their best effort, and uphold the values of sportsmanship—knowing how to win, lose, and forgive. I wish you great success in bringing honor to our university.”

SSRU invites its entire community—faculty members, staff, and students—to show their support and cheer for the university’s football team as they compete in the final round of the 1st Rajabhat King’s Cup from January 27-31, 2025, at Phetchaburi Rajabhat University.
