On 29 April 2026, from 09.00–16.00, at Nipanopadol Room, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, the Student Development Division, through the Student Discipline and Wellness Unit, organized a workshop on crisis response and mental health preparedness.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Nipon Chaipruektol, representing Somsak KlaiSang.

The workshop featured expert speakers from Mental Health Center 13, including Pongsakorn Lengdee and multidisciplinary specialists in public health, clinical psychology, and social work.

Training topics included psychological first aid for affected individuals, incident command systems, mental health recovery, emergency response planning under the 2P2R framework, and “Care for Caregivers” practices that support helpers during crisis situations.

The program aimed to strengthen practical skills among staff, students, and participants from outside the university, helping them respond effectively to emergencies while reducing risks in the university and surrounding community. This initiative aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by promoting mental health awareness and sustainable well-being.
