On 28 April 2026, at the Sky Room, 18th Floor of Alexander Hotel, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University joined the official press conference for the Select Thailand Volleyball Championship 2026.

Representing the university, Somsak KlaiSang assigned Phait Chayabat to attend on behalf of the Student Development Division.

The event was organized by the Volleyball Association of Thailand in cooperation with Thai Union Group. The press conference was chaired by Somporn Chaibangyang, together with representatives from participating institutions and partner organizations.

During the event, Phait Chayabat confirmed that the university will serve as host venue for two major tournaments:

• Select Women's Division B Volleyball Championship 2026, held from 6–13 May 2026
• Select Men's Division A Volleyball Championship 2026, held from 26–31 May 2026

Both events will take place at the university’s sports center, where facilities have been prepared to meet official standards and support athletes and spectators from across the country.
