Suan Sunandha Receives 1 Million Baht Scholarship Fund to Support Underprivileged High-Achieving Students

On March 27, 2026, at 08:00 a.m., at the University Council Meeting Room, Building 31, 5th Floor, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, the Student Development Division, through the Scholarship Affairs Unit, organized a ceremony to receive a scholarship fund under the “Theerakul Worutbangkour Fund” totaling 1,000,000 baht.

This fund provides continuous scholarships for undergraduate students of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University who demonstrate strong academic performance and come from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, supporting them until graduation.

The scholarships are allocated as follows:

  • Faculty of Law (4-year program): 1 scholarship
  • Faculty of Education (4-year program): 1 scholarship
  • College of Allied Health Sciences, Public Health Program (4-year program): 1 scholarship
  • College of Architecture (5-year program): 1 scholarship
  • Faculty of Science and Technology, Computer Science Program (4-year program): 1 scholarship
  • Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Technology, Robotics Engineering Program (1-year program): 1 scholarship

Scholarship recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 each academic year.

During the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Srivibul, President of the University, officially received the fund and expressed appreciation to the donors: Associate Professor Dr. Wichit Worutbangkour, Mr. Prawit Worutbangkour, and Ms. Warunthida Worutbangkour.

Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klai-sang, Vice President for Student Affairs, delivered a report on the objectives of the scholarship program. University executives, deans, and related personnel were also present at the event.

The official scholarship award ceremony is scheduled to be held annually around August.
