On July
13, 2024, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat
University, through the Student
Development Division, participated in a
mangrove planting activity to enhance
coastal marine life conservation areas
at Phraya Narasingh Shrine, Mueang Samut
Sakhon District, Samut Sakhon Province.
This event was part of the
"Learning and Compassionate
Society: Environmental Conservation
Activities" project, organized by
the Network of Student Activity
Committees from 9 institutions to
improve graduate
quality.
Assistant Professor Dr.
Thuwathida Suwanarat, Assistant to the
President for Student Affairs, along
with personnel from the Student Affairs
and Alumni Division, and a group of 10
student organization members, took part
in this activity. The event aimed to
educate students through hands-on
participation, fostering awareness of
the importance of mangroves and the
ecosystems they support. This initiative
helps instill environmental
consciousness in students for the
future.
