SSRU Ultimate Frisbee Team Secures Two Bronze Medals at the 50th Thailand University Games "Thammasat Games"

The 50th Thailand University Games, known as the "Thammasat Games", took place at Thammasat University, Rangsit Campus, on January 14, 2025. The Ultimate Frisbee team from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University (SSRU), led by Assistant Professor Dr. Suriyan Somphong, a faculty member in the Department of Sports Science and Health, Faculty of Science and Technology, and Director of the Olympic Studies Center at SSRU, delivered outstanding performances.

In the Mixed Ultimate Team category, the SSRU athletes showcased their precision and skill, securing a narrow 5-4 victory, earning a bronze medal. Meanwhile, in the Guts Open Team category, the SSRU team displayed remarkable form, edging out Khon Kaen University with a 21-18 win, adding another bronze medal to their tally.
