
Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and Thailand Volleyball Association Conduct International Volleyball Referee Training 2025 (Day 2)
On October 2, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., at Woralaknanong Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Health and Sports Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Bangkok, the university, through the Division of Student Development – Sports and Health Promotion Section, co-hosted an international referee training course in collaboration with the Thailand Volleyball Association, Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), and Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB). The course was titled “AVC International Referee Candidates Course”.
The training featured Mr. Dean Turner, Chairman of the Referees’ Commission of the Asian Volleyball Confederation and a member of the FIVB Referees’ Commission from Australia, along with Ms. Sophida Painarin, Mr. Pipat Hirunkham, and Mr. Kongkiat Chonchi, referees from the Thailand Volleyball Association, who served as instructors for the program.
The training was conducted from October 1–7, 2025, at the FIVB Development Center Bangkok, Thailand, covering both theoretical and practical sessions. Referees from countries including Singapore, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Australia, Iran, Japan, Macau, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, and Thailand participated in the course.
This activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 3: Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages, which emphasizes promoting health, well-being, and quality of life across all stages of life.
