Suan Sunandha Joins Forces with Educational Network to Empower Student Leaders through the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy

On April 4, 2026, at the Royal Organic Agriculture Farm in Honor of His Majesty the King in Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led by the Division of Student Development (Student Activities and Alumni Affairs Section), together with student leaders, participated in the program “Learning and Caring Society Project” under the activity “Following the Father: The King of Sufficiency Economy Agriculture.”

This initiative was organized through collaboration among multiple institutions, including King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, Srisavarindhira Thai Red Cross Institute of Nursing, Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon, Siam University, Civil Aviation Training Center, Merchant Marine Training Centre, Huachiew Chalermprakiet University, and Bhumiphan Institute of Technology.

The program aimed to encourage students to learn the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy through hands-on experience in community-based learning environments, enhance balanced life skills, and raise awareness of resource values. It also sought to strengthen student quality and promote collaborative learning across institutional networks.

Activities included learning at the open-air museum, visiting the Energy Innovation House, Mud House, Straw House, and the 1-Rai Sufficiency Model Farm, as well as participating in practical training on sufficiency agriculture, including rice transplanting and seedling throwing techniques. Additional activities included recreational and creative thinking sessions, visiting the indoor museum on royal agricultural innovations, and watching a 3D film.
