Suan Sunandha–Thailand Volleyball Association Hosts Closing Ceremony and Certificate Presentation for 2025 International Volleyball Referee Training
October 7, 2025, 09.00 hrs – Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, through the Student Development Division, Department of Sports and Health Promotion, co-hosted with the Thailand Volleyball Association (TAV), Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC), and Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) the closing ceremony and certificate presentation for participants of the AVC International Referee Candidates Course. The event took place at the Woralaknanong Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Health and Sports Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Bangkok.
The ceremony was graced by Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klaisang, Vice President for Student Affairs, who welcomed the attendees. Key guests included Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Thailand Volleyball Association, Mr. Chanrit Wongprasert, Honorary Vice President of AVC, Mr. Songsak Charoenpong, Chief Referee of TAV, and Mr. Dean Edward Turner, Chair of Referees, AVC, and FIVB official from Australia.
The training course was held from October 1–7, 2025, covering both theory and practical sessions. Participants included referee candidates from Singapore, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Australia, Iran, Japan, Macau, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, and Thailand.
Participants also officiated matches in the 2025 Academy League Volleyball Competition, held from October 3–10, 2025, at the 4th-floor sports hall, Health and Sports Center, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
