Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Holds a Ceremony in Remembrance of King Rama IX on “King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Day” and Organizes Volunteer Activities in His Honor

On Friday, October 10, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., at the Sunandanusorn Auditorium, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Bangkok, the Student Activities and Alumni Affairs Division, under the Division of Student Development, organized a ceremony to commemorate the benevolence of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (King Rama IX) on the occasion of “King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Day.”

Following the ceremony, volunteer and public service activities were held around the university campus, including cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and garbage collection, to promote cleanliness and good hygiene within the university. The activities also aimed to foster social and environmental responsibility, as well as to strengthen unity and harmony among students and staff — all in remembrance and tribute to His Majesty the King.

This activity aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, which emphasizes equal access to quality education for all learners at every level.
