Suan Sunandha Hosts 2025 Academy League Volleyball and International Referee Training

September 29, 2025 – Bangkok: Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, through the Student Development Division, Department of Sports and Health Promotion, held a press conference at Chaturathit Room, Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel to announce its role as host for the 2025 Academy League Volleyball Competition (Men’s and Women’s) and the international referee training program.

Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klai­sang, Vice President for Student Affairs, assigned Mr. Phait Chaiyabat, Head of Sports and Health Promotion, to represent the university at the press conference. Mr. Somporn Chaibangyang, President of the Thailand Volleyball Association, presided over the event, joined by Mr. Nantapol Thongnilpan, Director of Sports Promotion for Professional Athletes, Sports Authority of Thailand, along with supporting organizations, athletes, and media representatives.

The Academy League Volleyball Competition will take place October 3–10, 2025, at the Suan Sunandha Health and Sports Center, Bangkok.

The 2026 Pro Challenge Professional Volleyball Tournament will be held October 12–16, 2025, at the 4,000-seat Gymnasium, Nakhon Pathom Municipality Stadium, Nakhon Pathom Province.

Participating Academy League Teams:

  • Men’s (8 teams): Escola VC, Singha Ubon QTM Mai Thai VC, Kasetsart Si Racha VC, Ayutthaya Technical College VC, Muang Loei VC, Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality Pukanya Sanders, Thonburi 2024 VC, Prasertkul VC
  • Women’s (8 teams): Escola VC, Singha Ubon QTM Mai Thai VC, Supreme Vichayanon VC, Nakhon Nonthaburi VC, Suphanburi VC, Grand Sport VC, BG Bangkok Glass VC, Ambassador Sisaket VC

Pro Challenge Professional Tournament Teams:

  • Men’s (5 teams): Air Force VC, Phitsanulok–Muang Phon VC, Thonburi 2024 VC, Chumphon Cosmo VC, Ambassador Sisaket VC
  • Women’s (3 teams): Palang Karn VC, Athiwat Nakhon Pathom VC, Ambassador Sisaket VC
