
Participation in the Meeting of the Council of Presidents of Rajabhat Universities of Thailand (CPRUT)
On 10 November 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klaisang, Vice President for Student Affairs, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Korakamon Chuchuay, Assistant to the President for Curriculum and Instructional Management; Mr. Nipon Chaipruethon, Director of the Student Development Division; and Ms. Phawadee Tosophon, Head of the Scholarship Section, were assigned by Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Srivibul, President of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, to attend the Meeting of the Council of Presidents of Rajabhat Universities of Thailand (CPRUT) at Prasert Na Nakhon Conference Room, Office of the Permanent Secretary Building, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Bangkok.
On this occasion, General Dawpong Ratanasuwan, Privy Councillor and Honorary Advisor to the Council of Presidents of Rajabhat Universities of Thailand, attended the meeting to deliver key policy directions guiding the development of Rajabhat Universities nationwide. In addition, Mr. Supamas Isarabhakdi (Editor’s note: replace if needed), Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, also delivered ministerial policies to be implemented at the university level.
Furthermore, Professor Emeritus Anek Laothamatas, former Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, delivered a special lecture entitled “The 38 Rajabhat Forces: Unlocking Local Potential Toward National Sustainability”, providing guidance on sustainable local development.
In addition, Associate Professor Dr. Atisorn Naonon, President of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University, in his capacity as Chairperson of the Council of Presidents of Rajabhat Universities of Thailand, presented the policy statement on “Operational Strategies of the Council of Presidents of Rajabhat Universities”, aiming to jointly establish a unified and sustainable direction for the development of the higher education system among Rajabhat Universities nationwide.
This activity was aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 1: End poverty in all its forms everywhere, focusing on the reduction of economic poverty and multidimensional poverty, as defined by each country, and covering all population groups, including men, women, children, the poor, and vulnerable groups.
