
Vice President for Student Affairs Leads Suan Sunandha Athletes at the Opening Ceremony of the 51st Thailand University Games “Inthanin Games 2026”
On January 9, 2026, at the Chaloem Phra Kiat Sports Center, Maejo University, Chiang Mai, Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klaisang, Vice President for Student Affairs, together with Mr. Phaihat Chayabat, Head of the Sports and Health Promotion Division, Student Development Division, led the athletes of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University to participate in the opening ceremony of the 51st Thailand University Games, “Inthanin Games 2026.”
The opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Wannee Nonsiri, Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, who officially declared the Games open. The atmosphere of the event was lively and enthusiastic.
This year, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University is sending athletes to compete in 10 sports, as follows:
- Volleyball (Men and Women)
- Football (Men and Women)
- Futsal (Women)
- Flying Disc (Ultimate Frisbee)
- Rowing
- Wushu
- Board Games
- E-Sports
- Kickboxing
- Amateur Muay Thai
The Student Development Division, through the Sports and Health Promotion Section, invites all members of the Suan Sunandha community to watch the live broadcasts and cheer for the university’s athletes during the 51st Thailand University Games “Inthanin Games”, held at Maejo University, Chiang Mai, from January 9–19, 2026.
