Suan Sunandha Students Featured on “Sport Journey” Program to Celebrate Futsal National Team's Historic Achievement

Asst. Prof. Dr. Somsak Klaisang, Vice President for Student Affairs of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, recently recorded a televised interview for the program "Sport Journey" on NBT2HD. He congratulated two distinguished students who played a key role in leading the Thailand Women’s National Futsal Team to historic success:

• Ms. Phairaploy Huajaiphet, student from the Faculty of Law, majoring in Law
• Ms. Lalida Chimpabut, student from the College of Politics and Government, majoring in Public Administration

Both athletes proudly represented Thailand and helped the team secure its first-ever silver medal at the AFC Women’s Futsal Championship 2025, earning a coveted spot in the upcoming FIFA Women’s Futsal World Cup 2025, to be held from 21 November – 7 December 2025 in the Republic of the Philippines.

In addition to their international achievements, the two student-athletes were instrumental in leading Suan Sunandha’s women's futsal team to back-to-back championship titles at the “IMANE THAILAND FUTSAL FRESHY & WOMEN UNIVERSITY THE CHAMPIONSHIP 2025.”
