On 30 April 2026 at 10:00 a.m., Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University joined as a co-host in the merit-making ceremony and royal funeral prayers in honor of Queen Sirikit at Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall.
Somsak KlaiSang participated in the ceremony, following the assignment of the university administration. The delegation was led by Rueadej Kerdwichai and Chutikarn Srivibul, together with members of the university council and executive board.
The ceremony was held under royal permission granted by Maha Vajiralongkorn, allowing government and private organizations to jointly host the royal merit-making and funeral prayer ceremony as an expression of loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty’s immeasurable contributions to the Thai people.
