Suan Sunandha Enhances Student Awareness on STI Prevention through “HIV Free Life: Live with Confidence” Program

On February 18, 2026, at the Chor Kaew Meeting Room, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University in Bangkok, the Division of Student Development – Student Discipline and Well-being Section organized a special lecture titled “HIV Free Life: Live with Confidence.”

The activity was held in collaboration with the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand under the royal patronage of Princess Srinagarindra.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klaisang, Vice President for Student Affairs of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.

The program featured informative lectures on sexually transmitted infections (STIs) delivered by Ms. Patthaya Buranaprapa, Project Manager of the Planned Parenthood Association of Thailand. The event also included group activities on service access screening, as well as VCT/STIs testing services and related educational activities. Many students participated and showed strong interest in the program.

This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, particularly:

Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being – Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages.
Goal 4: Quality Education – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
