Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University Provides Health Check-ups for New Students for the Academic Year 2025, Aligning with SDG 3 – Happy 8 for Sustainable Health
On August 16–17, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, through the Division of Student Affairs under the Student Activities and Alumni Relations Office, organized health check-ups for new students for the academic year 2025. This annual health service aims to provide students with an initial assessment of their overall health, screen for potential diseases or abnormalities, and promote well-being and preventive care. Any detected health issues were immediately addressed and treated.
The annual health check-ups are highly beneficial for developing the university’s student healthcare system, ensuring that students maintain good health, which in turn contributes to the nation’s development.
Services provided during the activity included measuring weight and height, blood pressure monitoring, blood tests, consultations with physicians for internal health assessments, eye examinations, urine analysis, cervical cancer screenings for female students, and breast cancer screening via X-ray. A large number of students participated in the check-ups.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, which ensures healthy lives and promotes well-being for all at all ages. The program also supports sub-goals related to comprehensive health and well-being.
Moreover, the initiative follows the concept of promoting happiness in life and work through the “HAPPY Workplace, Happy Body” approach, emphasizing physical and mental health, as advocated by the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth) to support sustainable well-being.
