“Suan Sunandha” Holds 2026 Education Kathin Fundraising Ceremony, Raising Over 800,000 Baht

On January 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM, the Division of Student Development, Office of the President, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klai-sang, Vice President for Student Affairs, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Thuwathida Suwanrat, Assistant to the President for Student Affairs, Mr. Nipon Chaiprukstal, Director of the Division of Student Development, as well as staff members and the Student Organization, participated in the 2026 Kathin Samakkhi (Buddhist merit-making) ceremony for education.

The event was held at the Maha Rajadhiwas Rajavaravihara Museum, King Rama IV, Wat Ratchathiwat Vihara, Dusit District, Bangkok. The proceeds will be used to provide scholarships for financially disadvantaged students of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University and to support and promote Buddhism.

The total donations from generous contributors amounted to 812,857.59 baht (eight hundred twelve thousand eight hundred fifty-seven baht and fifty-nine satang).

Dr. Pannapa Raksanit, Chairperson of the University Promotion Committee, presided over the ceremony. Distinguished committee members, university executives, faculty members, and staff of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University also attended the event.

The event was organized by the University Promotion Committee of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, the University Council Affairs Division, and the Central Division, Office of the President, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
