the Army Civil Affairs Department to
Strengthen Networks in Honoring the
Nation’s Core
Institutions
On December 3, 2025, at 8:30 AM, at the Chor Kaew Conference Room, Building 31, 5th Floor, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Bangkok, the Student Development Division, through the Student Activities and Alumni Affairs Section, in collaboration with the Psychological Affairs Office, Army Civil Affairs Department, organized an activity to unify and strengthen participation networks in honoring the nation’s core institutions for Fiscal Year 2026.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Somsak Klaisang, Vice President for Student Affairs, who emphasized in his remarks that this occasion brought together representatives from various agencies, members of the Army Executive Relationship Development Club, members of the Gratitude Club, and the student body of Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University—forming a vital network of the Royal Thai Army and civil society. He expressed hope that collective efforts would demonstrate the strength of public participation networks in honoring the nation’s core institutions—the Nation, Religion, and Monarchy—and contribute to a stable and strong Thailand.
In addition, Colonel Chaipat Harikul, Director of the Mass Affairs Division, Psychological Affairs Office, Army Civil Affairs Department, outlined the objectives of the activity: to jointly honor the nation’s core institutions, commemorate the immeasurable royal benevolence of the Monarchy, and demonstrate the strength of participatory networks dedicated to these institutions.
Prior to the commencement of the program, participants observed 93 seconds of silence in tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
Activities within the event included an exhibition commemorating the royal benevolence of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother; a certificate presentation to members of the Gratitude Club; a cultural performance promoting love and devotion to the nation’s core institutions titled “Athisthan Sathha Thai: Kiatphum Kamchai Watthana,” performed by students of Thai Classical Dance from the Performing Arts Program, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts; a special lecture on “Royal Benevolence of the Monarchy in My Lifetime” by Mr. Tawinan Khongkhran; a short video clip contest promoting devotion to the nation’s core institutions under the theme “People of the King, Servants of the Land”; and student speeches delivered by representatives from the Thai Language Program, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University.
The event concluded with participants standing together to sing the Thai National Anthem, symbolizing unity and patriotic spirit.
This activity aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all, including equitable access to quality education for learners of all genders and levels.
