
Three Suan Sunandha Players Make Thai History with National Women’s Futsal Team
Three players from Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, representing the Thailand Women's National Futsal Team, helped make history by leading Thailand to its first-ever championship at the ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship 2026.
The final match, held on March 2, 2026, took place at Terminal Hall, Terminal 21 Korat in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, where the Thai national team faced the Australia Women's National Futsal Team.
Three Suan Sunandha students were part of the historic victory:
- Ms. Praeploy Huajaiphet – Master’s student, Political Science (Politics and Government), College of Politics and Government
- Ms. Wanlida Chimphabut – Undergraduate student, Public Administration, College of Politics and Government
- Ms. Nuengruethai Sorahong – Master’s student, Political Science (Politics and Government), College of Politics and Government
Together, they helped the Thai women’s futsal team secure a thrilling 5–4 victory, claiming the first ASEAN Women’s Futsal Championship title in Thailand’s history.
