Royal Kathina Robes Ceremony 2020

On 22 October 2020, Associate Professor Dr. Chutikarn Sriviboon, acting President of SSRU,, presides over the Royal Kathina Robes Ceremony in order to make an offering of the Royal Kathina Robes to the Buddhist monks residing at Phra Pratho Worawihan Chedi Temple in Nakhon Pathom. The Royal Kathina Robes were granted by His Majesty King Rama X, as part of the Theravada Buddhist tradition to offer the said robes to the Buddhist monks who have completed the 3-month term of the Buddhist Lent during the same year. Together with Mr. Aphinan Phueakphong, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Pathom Province, local administrators, SSRU lecturers and staff attend this  ceremony.  Total amount is 1,097,029 Baht (one million ninety seven thousand twenty-nine baht only) is donated this year.
